Opel Insignia will debut soon the twin-turbo diesel engine 1.9

By the end of 2010 Opel becomes available for the Insignia saloon and Sports Tourer 2.0 CDTI diesel engine with maximum power of 190 hp. This unit comes from the same displacement four-cylinder already used by Fiat Bravo - the same values of displacement, bore and stroke - but differs in its use of a second turbine that can gain power and roundness of use. Fiat will introduce its 2.0 TST during 2011, unlike the Opel version - designed in the engine department General Motors - will be developed by FPT and will have a maximum power of 210 hp. The Opel Insignia 2.0 CDTI 190 hp will be presented during the Paris Motor Show.
