On July 27, twenty years ago, went out of production, Citroen 2CV , a car that has driven the car a symbol of France, like the VW Beetle in Germany and the Fiat 500 in Italy. The idea of the 2CV was born in 1935 by Michelin , at that time the majority shareholder of the Double Chevron. All through the TPV project - short for Toute Petite Voiture - who left the following year. Development of the car also participated in President Pierre Boulanger, while the technique was entrusted to André Lefèbvre and design of the bodywork was designed from Italian Flaminio Bertoni. But the project was interrupted by the outbreak of World War II.
