The renewed Ford Mondeo was presented to the salon in Moscow and will soon be available on European markets. The new focus in front, where they are now present LED daytime running lights, new grille and a new bonnet redesigned to improve safety in an accident with pedestrians, while rear stand the new LED lights. Inside, new door panels, a redesigned center console that incorporates next-generation multimedia systems and lighting with LED lights. Also new materials and custom colors, designed to raise the level of perceived quality for customers of the flagship Ford.
The technology was introduced on the Ford Mondeo ECOnetic with some things such as energy recovery during braking and displays Eco Mode, available across the range and active aerodynamic front end, with a grid that choked the air flow to the radiators available for more powerful engines. Among the most important electronic devices include the possibility of Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Car, Driver Alert and Blind Spot Information System. Also available IVDC active suspension, with continuous absorption and a choice of how sport, normal and comfort. Note the availability of alloy wheels from 16 "to 19".
The range of engines consists of the renovated two-liter Duratorq TDCi Euro 5 version 115 hp, 140 hp and 163 hp (average 5.3 l/100 km and 139 g / km CO2), with the last two matching double clutch transmission Powershift and renewed 2.2 Tdci 200 hp and 420 Nm of torque, which Sangano to 450 Nm with overboost. The petrol models propose instead a new 2-liter Ecoboost version 203 and 240 hp, Powershift gearbox: it has the Sound Symposer derived from ST and Focus RS, a system that amplifies the frequencies more "pleasing" of 4 cylinders giving a sound sports: the 2-liter Ecoboost declare an average of 7.7 l/100 km and 179 g / km of CO2. There will also be the aspirated Duratec 1.6 120 hp and 145 hp 2.0, the latter will be available in some markets plug-in version E85 bioethanol and LPG bi version. Already announced for the future, new engines and Ecoboost 1.6 Duratorq TDCi.
