Pagani C9 will be approved even in the U.S.

The Pagani C9 , the heir to the sublime Zonda , will probably also approved in the United States. The small manufacturer intends to make a hyperchito Emilia-except that its performance outside the norm, made possible by the new 6.0 twin-turbo V12 Mercedes - AMG - is able to meet even the stringent anti-pollution standards taking effect in California in 2013.

The model, here we will be approved as Euro 5 , thus succeed where even the Zonda was unable to nothing: the actual creation of San Cesario sul Panaro has never crossed the ocean as it does not meet the requirements of consumption and maximum emission criteria set by the EPA, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the DOT, the Department of Transportation in Washington.

The C9 will probably be presented in March at the Geneva Motor Show , but as has already revealed Horacio several months, the engine of this future model, developed by Stella and his studio sports Affalterbach will be capable of delivering 700 hp and the oceanic torque of 1000 Nm

The relationships with the Zonda will be very minimal and the design, weight distribution, driving dynamics, materials with which the C9 will be implemented are the result of research completely independent from the current model. Suffice to say that all the components of the new C9 will even 3770.

The frame is custom-built cars of the future-as was the latest, most sophisticated and precious Zonda, a rigid monocoque carbon and titanium, and between components exclusively designed for you, be referred to the electronic management carried out by Bosch and tires, developed by Pirelli .

The production of the latest one-off basis Zonda end as early as September, to make way for necessary preparations to welcome the new creature with the signing of Horacio on the body. It will only make 40 a year and each copy will cost around 900,000 euros ...
