Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4

During the spring 2011 Peugeot will launch the marketing of the 3008 HYbrid4, standard version of the ' homonymous concept car shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. HYbrid4 The Peugeot 3008 is equipped with a hybrid platform composed of four-cylinder diesel 2.0 HDi (163 bhp and 300 Nm of torque) combined with a 37 hp electric motor, in turn managed by a six-speed sequential automatic gearbox BMP6. The 200 horses require paid just 3.8 liters of diesel per hundred kilometers to 99 grams of CO2 emitted per kilometer, saving 35% compared to the same segment with a traditional engine.

The system HYbrid4 gives rise to a four-wheel drive led and managed through a link "by wire" (no mechanical linkage), with four operating modes selectable by a command post on the board: cars, 4WD and Sport. Particularly interesting is the all-electric mode called "ZEV" (Zero Emission Vehicle), in which the thermal engine takes over only during acceleration, allowing the greater HYbrid4 to move only with the help of the ESA. The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 also comes with a system for recovering kinetic energy during braking and the Start & Stop and batteries - are under the luggage compartment - using the technology Ni-MH Nickel Metal Hydride. The official presentation is scheduled for the Paris Motor Show (2-17 October).
