Since the past few days you can order the ' Audi R8 GT , an extreme version of the coupe German proposal with price "base" set at 188,500 euros and limited production to 333 units. The R8 GT is equipped with ten-cylinder engine in version 5.2 of 560 hp and 540 Nm torque, which drives the sedan to 320 km / h acceleration in heart-: 0 to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in 10.8 seconds. This excitement is also being slimming (-100 pounds compared to the V10 standard) made possible through the use of bonnet (-6.6 pounds), rear bumper (-5.2 pounds) and side skirts (-1, 5 kg) of carbon fiber, brakes (-5 kg) and battery (-9.4 pounds) lighter, side windows and rear windows in polycarbonate (-9 pounds). The first GT R8 will be delivered in early 2011.
During the 2011 model year Audi also introduces a list R8 Spyder engine - meets the strict Euro 5 - 4.2-liter V8 and 430 hp, 10 more than the Euro 4 version and equipped as standard with the system for recovering energy during braking which reduces fuel consumption by 3%. A renewed eight-cylinder is also available for the Coupé, no price increase.
