To not even twelve months from the Ford updates the pickup F150 four-door version with the long wheelbase (3.68 meters) SuperCrew, introduced during the model year 2011 and available in sporty SVT Raptor. The new beast Oval measuring 5.89 meters in length (+30 cm compared to two ports), is 2 meters wide and has a chest with exact size of 1.7 × 1.27 meters. The F150 SVT Raptor uses the new 6.2 liter V8 and 415 hp (590 Nm), already used for the version Superduty and proposed replacing the
previous V8 5.4. The benefits are a matter of secondary importance to the capacity of the trailer, shown in over 3.6 tonnes. Ford engineers have also reserved the Raptor dynamic changes to the package, using Fox Racing Shox shock absorbers and front and rear suspension with a range of - respectively - 285 and 307 mm. Also new tires BFGoodrich All-Terrain 315/70 17-inch sizes, developed along a 100 km long off road designed to recreate the conditions of the Baja 1000 race. All F150 model year 2011 earning a 4.2-inch screen located in the center dashboard with the car indicate the main parameters including Descent Control and the parameters of the limited slip differential.
