Maybach 57 and 62: in 2012 the new generation. There are four models in the range

The Mercedes S-Class next-generation platform will provide four new Maybach . More powerful, and hybrid technology. As the site relates Automobile.com, the heirs of 57 and 62 sedans will be equipped with the current 6.0 V12 biturbo engine enhanced to exceed 550 and 630 hp delivered by today's versions, while the 1,000 Nm of torque will remain such so jeopardize the strength of automatic transmission with seven ratios. The future hybrid engine will instead rely on a change to nine reports, which will manage the partnership between the combustion engine power unit (about 25 hp). In "zero emission" future Maybach 57 and 62 - the length and names are still to be decided - will be able to travel about 15 km.


Maybach range is then composed of a sports sedan style CLS and a convertible four-door prototype based on the Mercedes Ocean Drive , offered as an independent model in contrast to the Landaulet proposal as "simple" conversion. The new German sedans will follow in 2012.
