Mercedes has officially announced the introduction of the range S-Class in a new series of engines, petrol and diesel engines, characterized by higher performance and lower power consumption than the units they replace. Three for the accuracy of the new engines: the 3.5 V6 petrol aspirated 306 hp, 4.7 V8 twin turbo 435 hp and 700 Nm and the 3.0 V6 BlueTEC from 258 hp.
One of the most interesting of the two new petrol is their open and modular architecture, the new six-cylinder V-close (not to be confused with the old 3.5 V6 was offered in an identical powerstep) and eight-cylinder turbocharged engine-both with direct injection of third-generation, sharing a very modern design criteria developed.

Both of the other are in fact born as it were "ready" for the use of a turbo or two, matching the all-wheel drive 4Matic and the introduction of an electric module to create a hybrid engine . Here are the details of the new units.
